3 Recipes We're 'Falling' For

Posted by Victoria Pillman on

Fall is our favorite season. Everything changes- weather, colors, wardrobes, routines, and especially the food we prepare in the kitchen. This year, we're blessed to experience a fall season in Minnesota. For the first time in 3 years, we get to break out our sweaters, watch the leaves change and go apple picking. And we are taking full advantage of this opportunity!

*Minnesota fun fact: The University of Minnesota is the birth place of the honey crisp apple through apple cross-breeding in 1960.

In keeping with the spirit of change, our go-to recipes are getting a refresh also! Here are 3 recipes that we're 'falling' for this season:

 1. Crockpot Pumpkin Chili from Moms With Crockpots

This dish just screams fall! Two staples in one dish: pumpkin and chili. And it's so easy! Try it for dinner this week or add it to your meal prep for lunch.

 2. Glowing Green Goddess Salad from Life Purely Nourished

This salad is so easy & good for you. Chef Ashley describes it as better than a bowl of skittles! Try it for yourself and see.

3. Apple Cake with Olive Oil and Honey from Olive & Basket

This cake is so moist & full of fall flavor. The (not-so) secret ingredient here is the olive oil! Make a day out of it and pick fresh apples to bake into your cake.

Enjoy this fall season and everything that comes with it!
